1836, tablet above 1st floor window, centre, with date and initials ISS.
2 storey. Red brick. 3 windows, flush frame sash with glazing bars and
flat lintols on moulded bedstones. One ground floor window smaller,
left. 6-panel door, right. 2 shaped gables on return south including
one to lower wing at rear. Good terminal house in important position,
near Burkitt House (Chapel Street) and Waggon and Horses Inn.
