Early C17 altered, 2 storey, stucco. 1st floor, three 3-light casements
and canted splay bay window, right. Tiles. Ground floor, modern shop
front left, with central entrance, opticians window centre, and splay
bay window right (masons' workshop - No 28B), with early C17 timber
framing and mantel in interior. Said to have been The Castle Inn up
to 1949.

Nos 2 to 30 (even) form a group.
