Formerly Cock and Pye Inn, C17, 2 storey timber framed, stucco, lined
as ashlar. Tiles. Carriage way through, right. 4 windows, sash, with
glazing bars and flush frames. Modern door. There is a record of a
Cock and Pye in 1553.
Nos 72 to 78 (even) form a group in important position.
