A terrace of estate cottages. Dated on stone plaque 1878 with coat of arms of
Sir Richard Wallace. These are one example of several similar estate cottages
in Orford. Red brick with plain tiled roof. One storey and attic. 4 windows:
3 light casements with mullions and transomes. Pointed brick arches. Entrance
doors have 4 panels with diagonal boarding. 4 dormers with casement windows,
pointed brick arches, fretted barge boards and tile hanging to sides. Buildings
included for group value and association with Sir Richard Wallace (of Wallace
Collection fame) a benefactor of the town.
