Farmhouse. Late C16/early C17, the right hand (parlour) cell probably later
than the remainder. Set back to the right hand side is a small timber framed
building, probably a service unit; this was formerly detached but is now
joined to the main house by mid C20 extensions. Timber framed, modern
panelled plasterwork, colourwashed brick casing to left hand gable; plaintiled
roof. 2 storeys and attics. 3 cell plan. 3 windows, early C20 small pane
sashes in flush frames; cross passage entrance: early C20 gabled porch with
moulded 4-centre arch with hood mould over and boarded door. Internal stack.
Interior with good exposed timbering; 2 blocked 4-light moulded mullion
windows on ground floor; there are attics at both ends of the house, each
reached by the original newel stairs.
