Farmhouse, now 2 dwellings. C16-C17, in 2 or more phases. Timber framed with
late C19 white brick facade, the remainder part roughcast rendered and part
plastered; pantiled roof. 2 storeys with attic to right hand wing. A main
range with flanking cross wings. 5 windows, mainly C19 3-light mullion and
transom large pane casements, flat arches on ornamental consoles. At the left
hand end of the main range is a 6-panel bolection moulded door (the upper 2
panels glazed) and an open timber porch on octagonal columns. 2 further
boarded doors. The main range has a heavy internal stack above the left hand
doorway and 2 smaller stacks. Exposed chamfered joists to one ground floor
room; original newel attic stairs.
