Former farmhouse, now a barn; various later additions, notably a building in
matching style attached to the south west. Mid C16 with C19 additions.
Timber framed, tarred weatherboarding, thatched roof. 3 bays. Central cart
entrance with porch to south; the porch has flanking C19 lean-to additions in
flint and brick with pantiled roofs. A good timber frame with some original
diamond mullion windows; clasped purlin roof with arched wind-bracing; the
first floor has been removed. Later addition of random flint and stone with
red brick dressings, the upper portion weatherboarded; thatched roof. Part of
the group is in Great Glemham parish.
