Farmhouse. Late C16. Timber framed, roughcast render, C19 red brick to left
hand gable end; roof of double Roman tiles. 2 storeys. 3 cell plan. Various
C19 casement windows; lobby entrance with C19 4-panel door; to the right hand
side is a further doorway with a C19 4-panel door, the upper 2 panels glazed.
Internal stack with 3 C19 linked flues set diamondwise, with a sawtooth brick
cornice to the base of the stack and the caps of the flues. To the right hand
side is a smaller stack in similar style. The interior has some good exposed
timbering on the first floor; good newel stairs with original door; arched
head of original front doorway. The roof has been replaced, probably in mid
C19, and the stairs to the former attic are now blocked.
