House. C17 with C19 and C20 additions. Timber framed with colourwashed
render and a plain tile roof. Two storeys. Three-cell baffle-entry plan
with later extensions which create an L-shaped plan. Entrance front: C20
porch with hipped roof to the left of centre with a 1/2-glazed door and
outshuts at left of this with flat and hipped roofs. To right of this at
ground floor level are a 2-light and 3-light casement windows and to the
far right a further C20 outshut. To the first floor are four 2-light
windows in the central portion and a further 2-light window at right to an
addition which has a catslide roof continuing the angle of the hipped roof.
Slightly projecting and at right of this is a further addition which has a
gabled and a flat roof with a 2-light window at first floor level. Axial
stack with 3 diamond-section flues. Rear: doorway at left which is half-
glazed with early C20 gabled trellis porch in front. To right of this are
two 3-light casement windows and at left is a 2-light casement window. The
first floor has three 2-light casement windows and to the roof are three
gabled dormer windows, each of 2 lights with pargetted plaster at the sides
and moulded frames and shaped bargeboards. To the far right is a single-
storey C20 addition with a window of 3 casement lights and to the left in
the catslide lean-to is a 1/2-glazed ground floor door and a 2-light casement
window to the first floor. Projecting at extreme left is a gabled single
storey wing which has to its garden-facing side three 2-light casement
windows. All the windows on this front are of late C19 or C20 date and
have 4-centred heads to the lights.
