Farmhouse. C17 with early-C19 and late-C19 additions and alterations.
Timber-framed with brick skin and colourwashed render. Plain tiled roof.
Two storeys with attic. Entrance front: doorway to left of centre with a
classical door surround, the pilasters at either side having bands of
fluting. Pediment above. Door of 6 panels, the lower 4 flush and the
upper 2 glazed. To either side are 3-light C19 casements and there are
three 3-light C19 casements to the first floor. Dentilled cornice at eaves
level. Axial ridge stack to left of centre. Left hand gable end: C20
brick in Flemish bond to the ground floor and rendered at first floor
level. Two-light attic casement to the gable. Half-hipped roof to left of
this over C19 extension which has 2 first-floor windows of 3 x 3 panes.
The right hand gable end has a 4-light gable window and a 2-light attic
window.
