House. Early C17 with C19 and C20 additions and alterations. Timber-
framed with colourwashed render and a plain-tile roof. Two storeys, 3-cell
baffle-entry plan. Entrance front: to left of centre is a projecting
canted porch with a hipped roof, probably C19 with a central C20 door of 4
panels. To left of these are a 3-light and a single-light casement at
ground floor level and to right two 3-light and two single-light casements.
To the first floor are three 3-light and one single-light casements. To
the ridge at left of centre above the porch is an axial stack of 2 flues
and to the right hand gable end is a further similar stack. Extending at
right is a C19 or C20 outbuilding, now having two sets of double doors and
serving as a garage block. Rear: outshut extending across the whole of the
ground floor with a lean-to pantile roof. To the first floor at far right
is one C17 window of 6 lights with ovolo-moulded mullions and to left of
this is one 4-light window, the lights being divided by wide mullions, and
a 3-light window at far left. The right hand gable end has a brick chimney
stack showing to the lower body in English bond brick, which is battered.
The left hand gable end has, to the ground floor, a 2-light and a single-
light casement and to the first floor a central 2-light window with 2-light
C17 windows at either side of it each having ovolo-moulded surround.

Interior: three ground floor timber-framed rooms with close studding to the
walls, passing braces, jowled wall posts, chamfered ceiling beams with run-
out end stops. Chamfered bressumers to two hearths. Blocked doorway and
two,blocked windows with diamond-section mullions. Winder staircase with
original solid treads leading up from the lobby to the first floor.
Further jowled wall posts and close studding to the first floor.
