Farmhouse. Probably C16 with later additions. Timber framed and plastered,
plaintiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. Earliest part to north, with jettied
first floor and a single gable facing east and west. The ground floor of the
front (east) has remains of strapwork pargetting and rusticated surrounds to
the windows. External stack with 4 rebuilt grouped flues with oversailing
brickwork to caps. Later range adjoining to south, probably C17; this range
has an asymmetrical mid C19 entrance porch: 2 storeys, rendered brick with
pilasters and flat parapet, twin 2-panel doors; one gabled dormer; internal
stack with moulded base and rebuilt clustered flues set diagonally. Windows to
both ranges mostly 3-light and 4-light C19 casements. C19 and C20 extensions
to rear.
