7/26 Dunwich Museum


Formerly the parish reading room, now a museum. Mid-late C19. Red brick,
roof with plaintiles to front and black pantiles to rear, crest tiles to ridge.
2 storeys. 3 window range, 2-light and 3-light casements with heavy mullions
and transoms and metal glazing bars in geometric pattern, flat brick arches;
asymmetrical entrance porch, recessed doorway under 3-centre arch, 4-panel
door; 2 gablets at eaves level. Ornamental bargeboarding to all gables.
