Laundry for Thorington Hall, now disused. Early C19. Red brick, roof of glazed
pantiles. Single storey. 2 window range, tall 2-light casements with pointed
arches and Y tracery; recessed entrance bay with pointed plank door. Adjoining
to the south is an early C20 cottage built to house laundry workers: red brick,
slated roof; 2 storeys; 2 window range, 2-light casements, boarded door. A
rare survival of a purpose built estate laundry.
