Lodge to Thorington Hall. Early C19. Brick, stucco render, originally lined
in imitation of ashlar; slated roof. Classical style. Single storey.
Symmetrical front: 5 bays divided by Tuscan pilasters with entablature above;
segmental entrance arch with doorway to one side of entrance lobby, boarded
door with cover fillets; one inset sash window with glazing bars either side of
entrance; portico on 4 Tuscan columns, entablature and pediment; right hand
return front of 3 bays, divided by pilasters, sash window to centre bay,
overhanging gable supported on 4 Tuscan columns; left hand return front with
pedimented gable and lean-to extension. One internal stack.
