6/89 The Stone House


House. Early C19 with later extension to rear. Flint pebbles,
white brick rusticated dressings, hipped slated roof. 2 storeys
and basement. Symmetrical facade with 3 window range, inset
sashes with glazing bars, segmental arches; doorway with 4-panel
door, the upper 2 panels glazed, architrave with corner squares,
fluted pilasters; open timber porch on slender fluted columns,
narrow frieze, dentil cornice, timber latticework to the sides;
internal stack.
