6/169 Nos.1-3 (inc) Rookery Cottages


Former farmhouse, now 3 cottages. Probably early C17; C19 lean-to extension to
rear wing. L shape plan. Timber framed and plastered, colourwashed brick
casing to 2 gable ends, black pantiles to roof. Front wing single storey and
attic, rear wing 2 storeys. C19 and C20 casement windows; one shallow-
pedimented dormer to front wing; 4-panel and 6-panel doors, raised and fielded
panels, boarded door to rear; external stack to front wing, internal and gable
end stacks to rear wing.
