Bridge over the moat surrounding Earl Soham Lodge. Probably C16
with some later rebuilding. Red brick, mainly laid in English
bond, stone copings; 2 arches, flat parapet. Extending from the
bridge to the west around the inside of the moat is a 40m length
of red brick walling: C16 or earlier, English bond; about 1m high
on the inner side and rising 2.5m above the moat; the section of
walling nearest the house incorporates the bases of 2 brick bays,
said to be part of an earlier house on the site.
