Farmhouse. Early C17, restored 1962-3. L shape plan with
service wing to rear. Timber framed and plastered, modern
concrete pantiles. 2 storeys and attic. 3 window range, mid C20
small pane casements; central doorway with mid C20 gabled porch
and half-glazed door; within the porch is an early C19 doorway
with 6-panel door, the upper panels glazed, pilasters, frieze and
cornice; 2 mid C20 gabled dormers. Original red brick parapet
gable end to left hand side: symmetrical, with a pair of original
moulded mullion windows at ground and first floor levels and
modern attic windows in original openings; splayed reveals; hood
moulds over ground and first floor openings; corbelled eaves,
integral stack with flues clustered in sawtooth fashion with
oversailing moulded caps. Interior with exposed timbering; early
C19 first floor stairs, original attic stairs; some original
doors and panelling.
