2/39 Soham House

House. Early-mid C16. Timber framed and plastered, pantiled
roof. 2 storeys. 3 cell plan. Various C19 and C20 casement
windows, 2 original mullion windows (one at the rear); cross
passage entry: 4-centre arched doorway with carved spandrels,
modern door; one internal stack and a gable end stack to left
hand side. The interior has a roll-moulded beam and some good
closely-spaced timbering; at the service end there is one
original arched doorway off the cross passage and traces of the
second. The roof is not original.
