Barn at Model Farm, now part of Easton Farm Park. Circa 1870 for
the Duke of Hamilton. Red brick, roof pantiled with crest tiles.
Single storey and attics. Symmetrical main range with a
projecting gable at each end. Central cart entrance with boarded
doors; to each side one 3-light window, the pointed arch filled
with decorative herringbone brickwork; each gable has a 3-light
window with shallow pointed brick arch and pointed attic doorway;
ornamental bargeboarding; external stairs to left hand gable.
The roof has a central timber ventilating turret with weather
vane above. Attached to the right hand side is a loose box with
a further projecting gable.
