House. C18 front range with earlier work to rear (double pile
plan); mid C19 wing also to rear. Colour washed brick, pantiled
roof with crest tiles. 2 storeys. 3 window range to first
floor, 3-light square leaded casements with pointed arched heads
to the lights; central doorway with inset 6-panel raised and
fielded door, rectangular fanlight with ornamental glazing bars,
enriched frieze and cornice; panelled reveals. To the left hand
side a fine early C19 shop front with 2 shallow canted 15-pane
bay windows, central blocked doorway, rectangular fanlight with
ornamental glazing bars; 4 carved console brackets support an
enriched frieze and cornice. Gable end stacks, each with 2
detached octagonal flues; ornamental bargeboards to the gables.
