TM 25 NE HACHESTON EASTON ROAD

House with former mill building adjoining. Main range probably
C17. Timber framed and plastered, pantiled roof. Single storey
and attic. 3 window range, 3-light casements, mid C20 bow window
to left hand side; doorway with half-glazed door, frieze and
pediment, open timber porch; 3 flat-roofed dormers with leaded
glass; one internal and one gable end stack. The left hand end
of the main range is cased in brick and formed part of the
watermill which was demolished c.1900 and replaced by the single
storey brick range extending over the river. This later building
housed a waterwheel which pumped water to Glevering Hall.
