Former public house. Early C17 rebuilding of medieval house.
Timber framed, roughcast render, thatched roof. Single storey
and attic. 3 window range, C19 casements, the left hand side
with 2 windows coupled together; doorway with 4-panel door, the
upper 2 panels glazed, wide architrave, small bracketed hood; 2
gabled dormers, one with carved lintol. Internal stack. 2 rear
extensions, one thatched. Left hand ground floor room has a
ceiling with various plaster motifs, including a double-headed
eagle, fleur-de-lys and a women's head with necklace; there are
similar plaster motifs on the first floor; some original internal
