south east of


Originally a secondary or unit house associated with the main
farmhouse, later becoming a service range; now used for storage
and housing livestock. Mid C16. Timber framed and plastered,
one gable end weatherboarded; pantiled roof. 2 storeys. 3 cell
plan with cross passage entry. Most of the original diamond
mullion windows survive, with sliding and later hinged shutters;
some windows have their original lower slides and possibly
original shutters, both rare survivals. Boarded entrance door.
Later internal stack set against the rear wall. Original
straight stairs; the roof has been replaced.
