Farmhouse. C17 with alterations of early C19. 3-cell cross-passage entrance
plan. 2 storeys. Timber-framed and roughcast. Plaintiled roof with internal
chimney of red brick, and bargeboards with carved soffits. 3-light C19
casements; above each window are triple blind Gothick arched heads. Early C19
1-storey entrance porch at left gable-end, with arch-headed panelled door.
The house was originally of 1 storey with attics; the walls were heightened
and the roof rebuilt C19. A formerly-separate dairy and bakehouse range, with
attics above, projects towards the road from the service end; end chimney of
red brick.
