4/58 Moat Farmhouse

Farmhouse. C16, possibly in 2 phases. Timber framed, modern textured render,
thatched roof. 2 storeys and attic. 3 cell form with cross passage entry. 4
windows, mainly C19 large-paned casements; mid C20 door. Internal stack and a
small stack at the right hand gable end. Lean-to dairy addition to the left
hand side. The interior has some exposed timbering and newel stairs with a
finial to the newel post; 2 doors on the first floor appear to be made from
C17 panelling. Moated site.
