Farmhouse. Late C16/early C17, in 2 phases. Timber framed and plastered,
pantiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. 3 cell form. 3 windows, C19 and C20
casements. Lobby entrance with C20 gabled porch and mid C20 door. The
exterior portion of the internal stack has been removed. The interior has
good exposed framing and joists, newel stairs and much original floorboarding.
On the first floor is a fine rectangular plaster overmantel divided
geometrically by diagonals and dated 1678 with the initials'P' over 'I' and
'K' spaced around a central Fleur-de-lys; the design incorporates 2 smaller
Fleurs-de-lys, 2 Tudor rose motifs and has a foilated border. Queen post roof
except over right hand cell which is probably a later addition.
