Farmhouse. Early C17, with later additions. A main range with cross wing to
the right hand side and a later dairy wing to the left hand side. Timber
framed; the facade is cased in red brick with a dentil cornice, the cross wing
part cement-rendered and part roughcast-rendered; plastered to rear;
plaintiled roof. 2 storeys with attic to cross wing. Various casement
windows, mainly C20; lobby entrance with 4-panel door, the upper 2 panels
glazed. Good internal stack of sawtooth pattern with an inset rectangular
panel in the base. The dairy wing is red brick with an eaves dentil cornice;
C20 half-glazed door; internal stack. Modernised interior; some of the main
floor beams have elaborate stop chamfers.
