Farmhouse. C16 and C17. 2 storeys. Timber-framed, with roughcast render and
plaintiled roof. An internal chimney-stack with a plain red brick shaft.
Coved cornice. Old 2-light and 3-light casement windows with a single bar to
lights and pintle hinges. C20 flat-roofed porch. AnC18 wing at the rear is
timber-framed, rendered and lined. The northern half of the main range has
some plain, heavy ceiling-beams exposed, though the original layout is not
clear; the 2 southern bays are a later addition: their intermediate truss is
framed with a low collar, but no original tie-beam. The much-altered roof has
the remains of clasped purlins and windbraces.
