House, formerly farmhouse. Late C16/early C17 with early-C20 additions.
Timber-framed with colourwashed render and a thatched roof and brick with a
pantile roof. Single storey with attic. Three-cell baffle-entry plan.
Entrance front: to right a portion of c.1930 which has a projecting gabled
porch at left with French windows at right and a single casement window.
To left of this the earlier portion has C19 or early-C20 fenestration. To
the ground floor are two 2-light casement windows and at far left one
single-light casement. To the attic are 2 raking dormer windows. To the
ridge at right of centre a single flue stack and at right of this a further
stack to the gable end. Right hand gable end: 2 two-light ground floor
windows and a 4-light first floor window with a ½-hipped roof. Left gable
end: blank, facing directly on to the road. Rear: continuous outshut along
the whole, with a catslide roof to a verandah at far right. To the attic
is one 2-light eyebrow dormer.

Interior: Close studded walling, chamfered ceiling beams, cambered tie
beams and wind bracing to the roof.
