Farmhouse. Late C16 with a C17 wing. Timber framed with colourwashed
render and a plain tile roof, probably originally thatched. Entrance
front: of two portions. The earlier, axial wing is at right and of 1½
storeys and the C17 wing at left of 2 1/2 storeys. The right hand portion has
2 doorways to right and left of centre with 3-light casements to their
outermost sides. To the first floor is a 3-light gabled dormer window at
left. The ridge has a massive rectangular stack at left with sawtoothed
flues. The C17 wing at left has a C19 ground floor sash of 4 x 4 panes and
a 3-light first floor casement. Jettied gable supported on moulded
brackets with a decoratively carved bressumer. Cross window to the gable.
Right hand gable end: cross window to the first floor and blank walling at
ground floor level. Left hand end: one ground floor cross window.
