Post. Circa 1861. Metal four legged plinth with stop chamfered pier above. Moulded
capital band with pyramidal top. City of London Shield cast on front, lettering
on pier below. A coal and wine tax post which indicates the boundary at which duty
was payable; that on coal dating back to the 1660's.
