Lodge. 1860 by Charles Buxton, executed by Frederick Barnes in Foxwarren style.
Red and blue diaper pattern brick plain tiled roof with crow-stepped gables,
centre double ridge stack. Cross shaped plan with main front at right angles to
street. 1 storey and attic under gable dormer on stepped brick corbels to left.
Double arched light casement window under flat drip-hood moulding, similar double
light window in projecting gable front bay to right. Diamond brick eaves band on
stepped brick corbels, 2 ground floor windows, one 3-light to left, one 5-light
to right both under flat drip mouldings. Planked door in gabled brick porch to
left end, further door under pentice roof porch hood on brackets to right.
