8/225 The Old Mill House

House. C16 with C18 front. Timber framed , rendered cladding to front, brick to
return fronts and rear. Plain tiled roofs with large ridge stack to right of centre,
end stacks to left and rear. 2 storeys with plat band over ground floor and to base
of parapet. 3 bays to right, gable front cross wing to left. C19 glazing bar
sash windows to first floor, early C19 windows to ground floor. 5 panel door to
right of centre , top 2 panels glazed, in architrave surround under flat hood on
scrolled foliage brackets. Timber frame exposed on left hand return front: crown
post visible in rear galbe of cross wing.
