the Monument)

Column. 1697, transported to Weybridge in 1822. Stone Tuscan Doric column on
square plinth with panelled pedestals above, inscription to east side with egg
and dart moulding to column top. Conical finial on stepped drum support with
crown top. The column originated from the Seven Dial Monument by Edward Pierce
and was transported to Weybridge to commemorate Frederica, Duchess of York.
