Post. Circa 1860. Approximately c3½ feet high. Metal four legged plinth stop
chamfered pier with moulded capital band and pyramidal top. City of London
shield to capital band, lettering below on the front of the pier. A coal and
wine tax post indicating the boundary at which duty was payable that on coal
dating back to the 1660's.
