Two pairs of C17 or early C18 cottages (Nos 1 and 2 particularly), altered
in the C19 and modernised. Both connected with Hanham Mill and probably
Avon Navigation Scheme (1720s). Rendered. Two storeys and attics. Pantile
roofs, plain ridge chimneys, 2 windows each, 2-light casements (No 4 three
windows, late glazed sashes). Plain doors, No 1 wide with wooden lintel.
Interior: Nos 1 and 3 have large beamed fireplaces.
