House, later convent school, now junior school. Late C18, much extended in late C19 and C20. Brown brick with red brick dressings, hipped slate roof with rendered stacks to left. 2 storeys under stone coped parapet. 5 bays, centre three breaking forward under pediment, plat band over ground floor, cill band to first floor sash windows under gauged heads. Modillion cornice over first floor breaking up to form pediment moulding. Central 4 panel door with transome light in blocked Gibbs, lugged, surround with oval paterae decoration. Glazed gable porch hood over on 2 cast iron, reeded lotus capital column. Left hand return front: 2 storeys and attic with parapet, incised render, windows in architrave surrounds. 2 angle bays to ground floor with fretwork parapets above. Elaborate square bay to left end with block rusticated piers, some blocks vermiculated, roundel fretwork parapet above with corner scroll finials. C20 extensions to left.
