House. Circa 1934 by Easton & Robertson for the Erhardt family. Rendered brick with
artificial stone dressings and cantilevered steel joists to support walls over corner
windows to avoid the need for columns. Coped parapet hiding flat roof. Two storeys
with three in centre of entrance front. Entrance front: Irregular facade with
central 3 storey bow with tall window rising through both upper floors. Small semi-
circular flat-headed porch cleared to side of main bow with off-centre glazed door.
Balcony at extreme left on first floor. Small ground floor rectangular projection
to right and further two storey wing beyond. Garden front: Irregular composition
with single storey wing to left. Central ground floor loggia with balcony over, the
windows in and over porch arranged symmetrically. Single port hole window to left.
Small shelter on roof for outdoor sleeping. See the Architect's Journal, 7.v.1936,
p.699.
