Pair of gate piers. Probably C1835 by Sir Charles Barry for the
5th Lord Tankerville, as house. Ashlar. Square-section, rusticated
piers, each having plinth; arched niche with ledge, imposts, and voussoirs
running into coursing; cornice; quadrant - moulded capstone.
The house, Mount Felix, was burnt down, but the Clock tower and stable
block (qv) and another set of gate piers (qv) survive and are listed
(both on Bridge Street).
