GV II

Cottage row, now part Public house. C16 with C19 alterations. Timber framed
with rendered dado, colourwashed roughcast cladding above, plain tiled roofs
stepping down to left end. Two storeys with boarded eaves to centre and
right and brick dentilled eaves course, partly obscured to left. Offset
square rendered and stack to left, ridge stack to left of centre and end stack
to right. Irregular front with centre and right projecting at angle of 45
degrees. Irregular fenestration with 6 windows close to eaves on first floor,
horizontal sliding sash window to left, the remainder two and three light
casement windows. Blocked window to ground floor left under cambered head,
projecting 3 light mullion and transome square baywindoy to left of centre,
four windows across remainder of ground floor. Planked door to left end under
flat hood on brackets; part glazed door to right of it. Half glazed door to
public house to right of centre.
