2/51 Garden walls, gates and gate
piers to east of The Hawthorns
GV II

Walls and gates to former garden. C17 with C19 and C20 restorations. C17 wall
attached to Garden Pavilion on left; red brick, circa 6 foot high rising to
8 feet in scallop pattern, c40 foot long. 4 brown brick square piers to right
end rebuilt in Cl9 on moulded stone bases. Panelled sides and dentilled capitals
with sphere finials. Wrought iron gates between. Quadrant wall attached to left
of gates with galletted rubble stone garden wall continuing to left for c50 feet
and turning to south for further 100 feet.
