4/95 Stonehouse Farm House

II

House. C17 restored in C19 and C20. Sandstone, galleted to rear, with C19 brick
refacing on brick plinth with tile hung gables. Slate roof with double brick stack
to right of centre. T plan, baffle entry, 2 storeys, regular casement fenestra-
tion with four window across first floor and ground floor windows under cambered
heads. Part glazed door to right of centre under gabled hood on brackets. Single
storey wing to rear with plain tiled roof.

Interior: Timber frame partition walling survives, beamed ceilings across first
floor. Deep brick fireplace and original spiral staircase.
