5/106 Stocks Farm House

II

House. Late C17 with C18 and C20 alterations and extensions. Timber framed
on rendered plinth with whitewashed brick cladding below, pebble dashed rendered
infill above to left, diamond pattern tile hanging above to right. Plain
tiled roofs hipped to right with 3 diagonal brick stacks to right end, 2 stacks
to left end. 2 storeys with 2 gabled wings to left; one 3 light leaded casement
in each gable on first floor, and one smaller casement between, 4 leaded casement
windows across 1st floor to right. Part glazed ribbed door to left of centre
in ground floor of gabled bay. End bay to right set back. Rainwater heads
on front dated 1768. Right hand return front: jettied gable to first floor
over further part glazed door.

Rear: (former entrance front). Wing at right angles to main house to left.
Square panel framing exposed with brick infill. Central gabled porch with
ribbed door under Tudor style arch. Single storey bay window to right.
