6/197 The Mill House


House. C17 refronted in C19. Timber framed core with red and blue brick cladding
below to front; tile hung on first floor in alternate bands of fishscale pattern
and diamond pattern. Plain tiled roof with end ridge stacks, 2 storeys, regular
front with 3 eaves sashes across first floor in moulded surrounds under steep
gables. Central panelled door under transome light and flat hood. Right hand
return front:- Timber frame exposed on ground floor. Wing at right angles to
rear. Slate roof parallel range to rear left.
