TQ 34NW NUTFIELD C.P. MOATS LANE

4/260 South Hale Farm House

11/6/58 II

House. C16 with C17 cross wing to left. Timber framed, brick cladding below
to right and on end of cross wing, coursed stone cladding to right, half of cross
wing; red and blue brick infill above laid diagonally at top of some frames.
Plain tiled roofs with rebuilt C20 ridge stack to right and end offset corbelled
stack on left wing. L shaped. 2 storeys, 3 framed bays to right with curved
bracing exposed; 2 casement windows on first floor. 3 bay wing with 2 casement
windows on first floor. C20 part glazed leaded door to right of centre in right
half under a gabled open porch with wooden supports on brick dado walls. C20
brick extension to rear left at right angles.

Interior:- Frame in ceiling and walls visible. Chamfered spine beam. Deep brick
fireplace with wooden lintel.
