Yew Tree Barn
II

Barn. Probably 2nd ½ C17; altered. Timber frame with weatherboard cladding
on later brick plinth; plain tile roof. Opposing central cart-entries, that
at front with double board door, that at rear lower and boarded across.
Interior: timber frame has wide rectangular panels with later infilling studs;
sole-plate; mid-rail; jowelled wall posts with long braces to eaves plate
and tie-beams; raked queen strut roof trusses with clasped through purlins
(later reinforcing struts and purlins); old rafters.
