1.
5118 EX-MANGOTSFIELD UD BROMLEY HEATH ROAD
Bromley Farmhouse
ST 67 NW 1/203
II
2.
Interesting and quaint old farmhouse, certainly of older origin than its C18
fenestration suggests, though present structure probably not older than mid-late
C17. Rendered walling pantile roof, east section flat roofed, eaves, plain
end gables, square base for diagonally set chimney stacks (now removed) to
left, and one to right (also gone). Two storeys. South elevation has 2 windows
on first floor, 3 on ground floor, sashes with glazing bars, exposed frames
in shallow reveals. Door in return elevation, irregularly placed windows.
Later extension set back and projecting to north on east side: 2 storeys, 2
windows, rendered, parapet with valley roof, ramped end wall to right hand
side. To rear a gabled stair turret with door under a cross mullion window.
