GV II*

House. C14 hall house encased and extended in early C19. Timber framed with
flint and brick cladding; plain tiled roofs with end stacks to left on street
front and stacks to left and right on rear wing. T plan with original house
to the rear. Street front (C19) 2 storeys with 3 sash windows across the first
floor. Single storey C20 porch to ground floor centre with door in left side
under return gable.
Wing to rear (C14). 1 storey and attic with 4 lucarne type eaves windows
containing camber head casements,windows leaded on ground floor. C19 door to
right in brick and flint gabled porch.

Interior: Main room: tiled floor with fine framing visible; ceiling frame and
central column support composed of multiple shafts; billeted cornice. Deep
brick fireplace with wooden lintel. Further substantial framing visible including
fine cambered tie beam with spandrelinfill to first floor.

Undergoing thorough restoration at time of resurvey.
